The Ice Save is a light bulb that utilizes the synergistic effects of photocatalysts and silver ions to disinfect, deodorize, prevent mold, and combat viruses in a space. It adsorbs floating viruses, bacteria, pollen, unpleasant odors, and mold spores on its surface and decomposes them through the effects of the photocatalyst. With air circulation, the processes of adsorption and decomposition occur repeatedly, purifying the air. As a second effect, silver ions (Ag+) are generated and released into the space, where they safely and harmlessly inactivate harmful bacteria and viruses through their antibacterial properties. It is also characterized by its extremely high safety for humans and animals. Both the photocatalytic effect and the silver ions maintain their antibacterial performance for the product's lifespan. Being a bulb type, it can be easily installed and removed, and it is designed to accommodate two socket types: E17 and E26.

Cold cathode lamps are resistant to flickering, and there is almost no reduction in lifespan due to turning the power on and off. ■ Test for the inactivation effect of the novel coronavirus In an in vitro test (test tube experiment) conducted as commissioned research by Professor Daisuke Hayasaka and Associate Professor Chuu Shimoda from the Joint Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Yamaguchi University, it was confirmed that irradiating the Delta variant of the novel coronavirus on a petri dish for 5 seconds from a distance of 5 cm inactivated it by >99.99%. Additionally, under other conditions, it was confirmed that irradiating from a distance of 10 cm for 10 seconds resulted in >99.94% inactivation, and from a distance of 20 cm for 10 seconds resulted in >99.44% inactivation of the same virus. The Ice Save is a light bulb that utilizes the synergistic effect of photocatalysts and silver ions to disinfect, deodorize, prevent mold, and combat viruses in a space. It adsorbs floating viruses, bacteria, pollen, unpleasant odors, and mold spores on the surface of the light, breaking them down through the effect of the photocatalyst. Additionally, silver ions (Ag+) are generated and released into the space, safely and harmlessly inactivating harmful bacteria and viruses through the disinfecting effect of silver ions. Being a bulb type, it can be easily installed and removed, and it is designed to accommodate two socket types: E17 and E26. It generates JIS measurement class 5 (over 620,000 particles/cm3) negative ions! It can efficiently diffuse from the ceiling like a shower. Generally, places like waterfalls and forests have a high concentration of negative ions, while polluted urban areas have a higher presence of positive ions. Negative ions are said to neutralize by combining with positive molecules (dust, dirt, mold, etc.) in the air.
